Basically Beethoven Hallam Concerts Announced for 2024 - 2025 Season
Dallas, TX – Sept 17, 2024 - Basically Beethoven is proud to announce the 2024 - 2025 Basically Beethoven Hallam Concerts, set to take place at Central Commons (4711 Westside Drive) monthly on Saturdays at 3pm in Dallas. This season will feature an eclectic mix of classical and contemporary works, showcasing Dallas and Texas-based guest artists in a series of concerts designed to explore known works and composers as well as lesser-known works, and even well-known modern songwriters.
“We are so fortunate to have an unbelievably rich talent pool from which to draw, as well as a smart and curious audience that truly embraces the intimate setting of these concerts,” Executive Director Morgan Vaughan said. “We’ve been working towards—and I think we’ve been especially successful at—creating an inclusive and welcoming ‘third space’ for chamber music lovers that includes both novices and aficionados.”
All concerts will be held on Saturdays at 3pm continuing the tradition of providing free, top-notch afternoon chamber music performances to the community. Performances generally last a little more than one hour. Donations are welcome and help support this series, the annual Basically Beethoven Festival in July, and music residencies in Dallas schools focusing on voice, violin, and piano. This will be the first full season of the Hallam Concerts since the brand-name change from Fine Arts Chamber Players to Basically Beethoven.
